Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting a delivery driver for the Solent area. You will sort parcels and plan efficient routes, while performing vehicle safety checks and delivering to homes and businesses.

Starting salary £25,201 per year, rising after six months to £27,561, with potential to reach £30,000 per year including overtime and weekend premiums. Excellent pension, holidays, medical cover, and uniform provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address.
• Clean licence with no more than 6 points.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg.

Responsibilities

• Sort parcels and plan delivery routes.
• Carry out essential vehicle safety checks.
• Collect and deliver parcels to homes and businesses.
• Provide a friendly, dependable service.

Hours: 38 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Wednesday - Friday - 9:30am - 7pm, Saturday 8am - 5:30pm

Starting salary: £25,201 per year £12.71 per hour
After 6 months: £27,561 per year £13.94 per hour
Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
Saturday Weekend Premium +£4.39
Paid weekday and weekend overtime

o Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
o Weekly Driving Allowance (£26.73 weekly)

What we're looking for
A full manual UK driving licence (Cat B up to 3.5t) registered to your current address, with no more than 6 points
