Additional Resources Ltd is recruiting a reliable Parcel Sorter / Warehouse Operative for a night shift in Chelmsford.

The role involves hand-sorting mail and parcels, labeling, and preparing them for delivery, with duties including moving items within the depot and scanning with accuracy. Night shifts run 11:59 PM to 8:00 AM, Monday to Friday, with a minimum 8-hour shift.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience preferred.
• Must have safety boots & hi-vis jacket.
• Able to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check (cost deducted from first week's pay).

We are currently recruiting reliable and hardworking Parcel Sorter / Warehouse Operative (Night Shift) to join a well-established UK courier and parcel distribution company based in Chelmsford.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience who are comfortable working night shifts in a busy depot environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Hand-sort mail and sort parcels into the correct routes and locations.
• Bag, label and prepare parcels for delivery.
• Move mail within the depot and load and unload containers.
• Scan items accurately and maintain an organised, safe working area.
• Work efficiently as part of a fast-paced depot team.

What Were Looking For:

• Previous warehouse, parcel sorting, logistics or distribution experience would be preferred
• Must have safety boots & hi-vis jacket
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable with good timekeeping.
• Ability to work night shifts until all tasks are completed.
• Willingness to complete a DBS check (cost deducted from first week's pay)
• Must be available to start immediately

• Pay Rate: £17:00 per hour (uplifted PAYE Umbrella)
