Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Parcel Sorter Agent at East Midlands Airport to join our team. The role involves sorting parcels, scanning items, and loading/unloading across conveyors and vehicles, with a focus on safety and accuracy. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with strong onsite support and easy access by public transport.

Uniform and PPE are provided, and full training is offered. Overtime opportunities may arise as part of shift patterns designed to cover 24/7 operations at the airport.

Responsibilities

• Sorting parcels and freight according to destination, route, or service level.
• Scan, label, and process items using handheld and fixed scanning equipment.
• Load and unload packages from conveyor belts, cages, pallets, and vehicles.
• Ensure parcels are handled safely, securely, and in line with operational procedures.
• Identify and report damaged, missing, or misrouted items.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors to meet operational targets.
• Follow health & safety guidelines and company policies at all times.

Parcel Sorter Agent with our client, who is the world's leading logistics provider.

Staffline is recruiting Parcel Sorter Agents at

East Midlands Airport.

Shift patterns are as follows:

• Monday - Friday - 04:00am - 12:30pm
• Monday - Friday - 21:00pm - 05:30am
• Monday - Friday - 17:00pm - 01:30am
• Monday - Friday - 13:00pm - 21:30pm
• Friday/Monday - 21:00pm - 05:30am, Saturday - 19:00pm - 05:30am, Sunday - 18:00pm - 04:30am

Your Time at Work

During your time as a Parcel Sorter Agent you will be responsible for:

• Sorting parcels and freight according to destination, route, or service level
