Job summary

CareerMakers Recruitment is currently recruiting a Parcel Sorter for a client based in Deeside, CH5. The role is physically demanding and may involve unsociable hours depending on demand. You will unload, handball, and sort parcels, operate sorting machines, and help load vans for despatch, all while maintaining a safe workspace.

The night shift runs Monday to Friday, 11:45pm to 8am, with pay rates of £13.29–£15.02 depending on hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Able to lift lightweight and heavy parcels, weighing up to 15-20kg each.

Responsibilities

• Unloading of HGV trailers into the warehouse and placing onto sorting belts.
• Handballing parcels.
• Segregating different types of mail.
• Operating sorting machines.
• Sorting parcels into the correct loading areas from a belt using scanners & headsets.
• Working in a team to safely load vans ready for despatch.
• Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
• Following standard processes & operating procedures.

This role is physically demanding & can involve working unsociable hours depending on the demand. We're looking for individuals that are flexible in their working approach as on occasion you may be asked to stay on after the proposed end time or start earlier.

We're looking for someone comfortable with the below…
