Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking a Parcel Delivery Driver at Exmouth Delivery Office. This fixed-term contract for 9 months is 30 hours per week, with four days across Mon-Sat and weekend work on Saturdays and Sundays as per local rota.

Qualifications

Job type: Fixed Term contract 9 months

Hours: 30:00 hours per week, working 4 days across Monday - Sunday, working Monday - Saturday between 09:45-17:15 and Sunday 10:00-18:30

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

A bit about you

• Enjoy a multi drop driving role, delivering parcels across the week in the assigned area
• Possess a full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points

For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
