Royal Mail is hiring a Parcel Delivery Driver at Reading Delivery Office. You will deliver parcels on your route, prepare your van and workload, and use route‑planning technology to ensure timely deliveries across the assigned area.

The role is 30 hours per week across 5 days (afternoons/evenings), with a guaranteed hourly rate of £13.68 and a benefits package including 22.5 days holiday, a company pension, and uniform provided. Saturday/Sunday work may be required per rota.

Formación

• Full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in the afternoon and early evenings.
• Ability to work independently and handle a workload efficiently.

Hours: 30.00 hours per week, working 5 days across Monday - Sunday, working between 14:00 and 20:00

Due to operational demand, you will be required to work Saturday and Sunday, according to a local rota/plan.

Please note: For candidate search purposes, roles offering between 35-37 hours per week are listed as full-time. However, any role under 37 hours per week will be classified as part-time in the employment contract.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.
