Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters in the community. You will deliver on a dedicated route and may sort mail in the delivery office. A DBS check is noted as part of the process, with a 14:00–20:00 shift and a minimum of five days per week, all on a temporary basis.

Ideal candidates will hold a Full UK driving licence with limited points, strong customer service skills, and a proactive, outdoors-friendly attitude for all weather conditions.

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Sunday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 14:00 - 20:00
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
