Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters across the local area. You will deliver on a defined route, either by vehicle or on foot, maintaining service standards and safety. A DBS check may be required as part of the application process.

The role is considered temporary with a typical shift 13:00 - 21:00, Monday to Saturday, offering a rewarding role with community impact and the chance to work for a trusted national brand.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points (subject to conditions).

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Saturday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 13:00 - 21:00
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
