Job summary

Royal Mail's Oakengates Delivery Office is seeking a Postie to deliver letters and parcels across the local area. You’ll work on a rotating shift, 30 hours per week, including weekends, with a 14:00-20:00 shift and other weekend patterns.

Full training provided and a chance to stay active while serving the community. You'll need a full UK manual driving license (max 6 penalty points) and the ability to pass a driving assessment.

Qualifications

Location: Oakengates Delivery Office, TF2 6AE

Job type: Fixed Term contract (9 months)

Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available. Working hours: 30:00hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Friday - 14:00 to 20:00, Saturday - 13:00 to 19:00, Sunday - 10:30 to16:30.

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.

  About you

  We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:
