Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Delivery Drivers in the United Kingdom to deliver parcels and letters on a dedicated route, driving or walking as required. You will uphold service standards and provide friendly customer service to the community.

Typical shift times are 15:30–21:30, with a minimum of five days a week from Monday to Saturday. A DBS check is required as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.

• Deliver parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route.

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world‑class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Saturday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 15:30 - 21:30
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.

• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
