Job summary

Royal Mail are recruiting Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters in Welwyn Garden City. You will be part of a world-class service, delivering quickly and with friendly customer service on a designated route.

This temporary role requires a full UK driving licence with up to six points, and a DBS check. Shift times 14:00–20:00, at least five days per week, with a basic pay rate of £13.69 per hour and a busy, outdoor role.

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Sunday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 14:00 - 20:00
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
