Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking Delivery Drivers to distribute parcels and letters on a dedicated route. You will deliver quickly and politely, either by driving or walking, while maintaining high service standards and assisting with sorting in the delivery office.

Applicants must hold a Full UK driving licence (max six points), have excellent customer service, be outdoorsy and fit, with resilience and flexibility. A DBS check is required as part of the application.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points (subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills and a proactive attitude
• Good level of fitness and ability to work outdoors in all weather

Royal Mail deliver letters and parcels every day to people throughout the country and are relied on by communities across the UK. We are now looking for Delivery Drivers to be a part of this world-class service.

You will be responsible for delivering parcels and letters quickly and efficiently, by driving and/or walking on a dedicated route, whilst maintaining our high integrity standards and demonstrating friendly customer service! Other duties may also include sorting of mail/parcels within the delivery office.

• The role is working a minimum of 5 days a week between the days of Monday to Saturday. (Shift times may vary)
• Shift time is 15:30 - 21:00
• Basic pay rate - £13.69ph
• Temporary

As a Parcel Delivery Driver, you will need the following:

• Full UK driving licence, with no more than six points. (Subject to conditions)
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Upbeat and self-motivated.
• Love of the outdoors, whatever the weather.
• Good level of fitness to meet demands of the role.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Resilience and flexibility.
