Job summary

AFH Wealth Management in Watford is seeking a Paraplanner to join our growing advisory team. This full-time, permanent role involves delivering comprehensive research on investments, preparing bespoke investment and financial planning reports, and supporting transfer analysis within SLAs.

You will review legislation and product information, contribute to firm research projects, and work closely with senior advisers to ensure accurate, client-focused recommendations.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Financial Planning is required.
• Knowledge and experience in personal financial planning and in constructing research and suitability reports.
• Experience in an IFA environment with clear client communications.
• High standard of written and numerical skills.
• Strong report-writing skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Aptitude in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Completion of assigned tasks, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Delivery of accurate and thorough research and investment reports to advisers.
• Contribution to regulatory development of advisers and staff on case basis.
• Thorough research and escalation to senior team when needed.
