Job summary

St. James's Place plc (SJP) is seeking an experienced Paraplanner in Alderley Edge to support retirement planning, inheritance tax advice, investments and family protection. You will produce detailed reports and work closely with the Senior Partner and clients to deliver high-quality service.

The role offers hybrid working (2–3 days WFH) and a salary of £40k–£45k with private medical insurance, death in service 4x salary, and generous pension matching, plus a discretionary bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• Experienced Paraplanner with strong report-writing skills.
• Level 4 Diploma desirable.
• Experience with Life, Pension and Investment products.
• Hybrid working option with 2–3 days WFH.
• Team fit and client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed, compliant financial planning reports.
• Provide technical support and research for retirement, inheritance tax, investments.
• Engage with the administration team to ensure accurate processing.
• Attend client meetings when required.
