Job summary

Clark James Recruitment is recruiting an experienced Paraplanner for their St Albans office within a respected Wealth Management business.

You will join a paraplanning team to support advisers, draft suitability reports, prepare cashflow analyses and liaise with clients to ensure timely service and compliance. The role combines technical paraplanning with client-facing activities in a busy office setting.

Qualifications

• Proven paraplanning experience.
• Level 4 Diploma qualified or close to achieving this (R01–R06).
• Strong technical knowledge of financial products and services.
• Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to manage workloads effectively.
• Honest, reliable, trustworthy and must act with discretion and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to advisers and the team.
• Draft suitability reports ready for adviser sign-off.
• Build cashflow analysis for client meetings.
• Liaise with clients by phone, email and post.
• Attend client meetings as required.
• Process client requests such as withdrawals and contributions.
• Update workflows and ensure paperwork is scanned and filed properly.
