Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare suitability reports and financial plans.
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection.
• Support advisers with financial planning strategies and tax planning.
• Assist with inheritance tax planning, including Trusts and BPR.
• Support recommendations involving EIS and VCT planning.
• Improve processes and efficiencies and collaborate with the team.

A superb opportunity has arisen in the York area for a Paraplanner to join our client’s independent practice in the York area.

The Role

As a Paraplanner, you will:

• Prepare suitability reports and financial plans
• Conduct technical research across pensions, investments and protection
• Support advisers with financial planning strategies
• Work on inheritance tax planning cases, including Trusts and Business Property Relief (BPR)
• Support recommendations involving EIS and VCT planning
• Help improve processes and efficiencies
• Collaborate with a close-knit and ambitious team

Paraplanner requirements:

• Level 4 Diploma qualified (minimum)
• Strong paraplanning experience within financial planning
• Excellent technical knowledge
• Experience or exposure to inheritance tax planning
• Organised, proactive and detail-focused
