Job summary

Templegate Recruitment is seeking a Paraplanner to join their Leeds-based team, with an excellent path to becoming a Financial Adviser.

You will provide paraplanning support, prepare suitability reports, and assist with pension, investment and protection cases while managing client relationships.

The role is office-based in Leeds with a Monday–Friday schedule and a clear path to Trainee Adviser progression as you develop knowledge and responsibility.

Qualifications

• Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
• Paraplanner experience within financial services
• Strong understanding of financial planning and investment products
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage workloads and deadlines
• Professional, personable and confident with clients and colleagues
• Proactive approach with ability to work independently
• Genuine ambition to progress into Adviser role
• Willingness to work office-based in Leeds

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Paraplanning support to the Adviser and wider team
• Prepare suitability reports, financial analysis and recommendations
• Assist with pension, investment and protection-related cases
• Support the Adviser with management and servicing of an established client bank
• Assist with new business processing and ongoing client reviews
• Conduct research and analysis to support financial planning recommendations
• Liaise with product providers and other third parties
• Ensure all client documentation is accurate, compliant and completed within timescales
• Take on increasing responsibility for client relationships as experience develops
• Work towards progressing into a Trainee Adviser position
• Develop the skills and experience required to eventually provide regulated financial advice

An established, small and friendly financial services firm based in Leeds is looking to appoint an experienced Level 4 qualified Paraplanner to join their close-knit team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner who is looking to take the next step in their career and progress towards becoming a Financial Adviser.
