Job description

Merco Medical Staffing are looking for experienced and dedicated Paramedic Practitioners to join our established Client in South East London.

Description of your Role:

You will be supporting the GP Home Visiting Service, NHS@Home (Virtual Ward) service and Clinical Streaming at University Hospital Lewisham Emergency Department.

The Paramedic Practitioner will be responsible for triaging patients, performing investigative procedures when required and sign-posting patients to the appropriate community service. You will bring your clinical assessment skills, ability to diagnose and treat patients, as well as your enthusiasm to the role.

Requirements:

1. Be flexible, respectful and compassionate with the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team;
2. Have the desire to reduce unnecessary hospital admissions;
3. Be passionate about providing access to care for patients;
4. Aspire to improve long term care for house bound patients with chronic conditions;
5. Have at least 5 years' experience post HCPC registration
6. FCP qualified or willing to work towards

Working hours:

• Mon-Fri 9:00-17:00
• Mon – Wed 9:00-20:00 (streaming)
• Sat & Sun 13:00-17:00
