Job summary

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a Paramedic Learning Facilitator to support learners and mentors within PES Operations. You will report to the Sector Manager and work as part of the Sector management team to improve learner experiences and outcomes.

The role involves 70% operational shifts with learners on a double crewed ambulance and 30% protected non-operational learning activities. The successful candidate will be a degree-qualified paramedic, with experience as a practice

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level as a paramedic.
• Experience supporting learners as a practice educator/mentor.
• Ideally teaching/learning qualifications in progress or obtained.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Sector Manager and work as part of the Sector management team to support learner experiences.
• Deliver and evaluate learner and mentor experiences; develop action plans to improve learning quality.
• Spend 70% of time on operational shifts with learners on a double crewed ambulance; 30% on non-operational learning activities.
