NWAS is recruiting a Qualified Paramedic for frontline ambulance services across Cumbria & Lancashire. The role emphasizes high‑quality patient care, rapid decision making and teamwork in diverse environments.

You will undergo a two‑year consolidation of learning, participate in an induction from January 2027, and benefit from a structured development pathway with significant training funding.

Qualifications

• Registered Paramedic with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC).
• IHCD Paramedic Training Programme or a recognised Higher Education Paramedic qualification.
• Completed two year consolidation of learning programme in an ambulance trust.

Responsibilities

• Provide life-saving care to patients in the community and transport them to hospital or to a place of care when required.
• Deliver non-emergency patient transport services as needed.
• Work across diverse environments including town and rural areas to ensure timely patient care.
