Job summary

North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking a registered Paramedic to work across Cumbria & Lancashire - Fylde Coast. You will provide urgent medical care and patient transport within a busy NHS ambulance Trust, ensuring high-quality care in varied environments, from urban areas to rural settings.

The role requires HCPC registration, completion of IHCD/HE paramedic training or equivalent, and a valid C1 driving licence.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered paramedic required.
• IHCD/HE qualification or equivalent.
• Two-year consolidation of learning programme completed (if appointed after Sept 2016).
• Full C1 driving licence with limited points (3, max 6).
• Identity documents including right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and transport for patients as part of NWAS services.
• Operate within Trust policies and protocols; ensure patient confidentiality.
• Complete pre-employment checks including driving assessment.
