About Our Client

Job Description

In this role, you can expect to be involved in various tasks including:

  • Reviewing and allocating incoming instructions from clients, including tracking and mapping the team's capacity and capabilities to ensure proper work allocation
  • Tracking progress to meet deadlines, answering team queries, and liaising with instructing lawyers to update them on work status
  • Managing data rooms and online trackers to ensure accuracy and timely progression of matters
  • Handling conflict requests and matter opening requests promptly
  • Attending weekly client update calls
  • Assisting with recruitment, including interviewing candidates and onboarding new staff
  • People management of a sub-team of paralegals, including onboarding, holiday approval, sickness monitoring, providing feedback, supporting wellbeing, identifying training needs, and conducting annual appraisals
  • Financial management and reporting, including reviewing team time records, managing balances, and WIP processes

The Successful Applicant

Previous paralegal experience, preferably with team supervision experience

Strong attention to detail, analytical and thorough approach

Excellent communication skills for interacting with colleagues at all levels

Good time management skills with the ability to prioritize

Proficiency in IT skills

Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
