Department: CSG - Casualty (EL/PL / Complex Injury / Disease / Fraud / Motor Injury / Vehicle Hire and Damage)
Location: Newport
We are looking for Paralegals to join our market leading CSG team that works with over 40+ insurance companies and self-insured corporates across the UK.
You will be based at our Newport office (South Wales) and successful applicants will be required to attend the office 5 days a week during probation. Following successfully passing your probationary period, you will then be able to discuss a more hybrid approach with your manager, in line with business requirements.
Our Motor Injury team represents insurers and corporates in investigating and resolving complex or high-value vehicular personal injury claims. We manage all stages of the process, including pre-litigation, MOJ, infant approvals, OIC, small track, and fast track matters. With a progressive approach and a market-leading reputation, the team goes beyond litigation. We analyse behaviours and trends to deliver bespoke strategies that help clients achieve the best possible outcomes.
Whichever team you join, you will have an excellent opportunity to develop your legal skills, knowledge and career with us in CSG.
For these opportunities we run monthly Assessment Centres, typically held on the first Tuesday of each month. The recruitment process includes an initial screening call, followed by an online assessment. Successful candidates will then be invited to attend an in‑person Assessment Centre the following week.
We welcome applications from graduates and individuals with customer service or retail experience who are team-oriented and eager to learn.
We’re also keen to hear from Paralegals or Legal Assistants with experience in a legal setting. Previous exposure to Litigation and/or insurance claims would be highly beneficial, however all training will be provided.
We are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, which aligns closely to our cultural principles (Determined, Clear, Creative and Supportive).
We are happy to talk flexible working with our Flex Forward scheme. We would encourage you to talk to us about our approach to flexible working during the hiring process if you would like to explore this further.
