Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Paralegal to join its Corporate & Commercial team in Redhill. The role offers exposure to high-quality corporate matters and direct client interaction, with a supportive environment for developing your career.

You will assist with transactions, drafting documents, due diligence, and regulatory filings, while building strong organisational and communication skills in a hybrid working setting.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a Paralegal, Legal Assistant or similar in corporate/commercial law.
• Good understanding of corporate and commercial law principles and procedures.
• Experience drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Law degree, LPC/SQE studies or equivalent desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist solicitors with corporate and commercial transactions.
• Prepare, review and amend legal documents and correspondence.
• Draft board minutes, shareholder resolutions and Companies House filings.
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefing notes.
• Manage due diligence and review documentation.
• Support company formations, restructures and governance matters.
• Review and prepare commercial contracts.
• Liaise with clients, third parties and regulators.
• Maintain accurate electronic and physical case files.
• Manage key dates and deadlines to keep matters progressing.
