Job summary

Together - loans, mortgages & finance is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal to join their in-house Securities Team in Cheadle. You will support all stages of conveyancing from pre-contract to completion, reviewing loan security documents and ensuring risk is mitigated prior to loan approval.

You will work with internal and external parties across Commercial and Residential loans, with opportunities to develop your SQE qualification.

Qualifications

• Prior conveyancing experience and strong knowledge of property titles/land registration.
• Commercial property experience is desirable.
• Legal experience relating to property is essential.
• Analytical/problem-solving skills and effective communication are required.
• Strong organisational skills and proficiency with MS Office are expected.

Responsibilities

• Review, assess and process title documentation and make recommendations within SLA.
• Collaborate with departments and stakeholders to ensure customer needs are met throughout the conveyancing journey.
• Communicate effectively with key stakeholders to maintain security where needed.
• Keep company security-related records up to date.

• Salary base between £30,000 - £35,000
• Opportunity to complete SQE qualification
• 26 days holiday, and a day off for your birthday (increasing with service to 30 days), plus bank holidays

Job Description

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, you will work as part of our fantastic and highly skilled in-house Securities Team. Supporting all stages of the conveyancing process from pre- contract to completion, you will be reviewing and processing requests related to loan security both from internal and external parties across our Commercial and Residential loans. The Securities Team is responsible for mitigating risk and group exposure prior to loan approval by validating the proposal, together with the sustainability and enforceability of the loan post decision.

As a Conveyancing Paralegal, we are looking for someone to:

• Review, assess and process title documentation and make recommendations within company SLA's
• Develop an effective working relationship with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the customer’s needs are met throughout the journey
• Effectively communicate with key stakeholders to ensure security remains effective in all cases
• Make sure the company security related records are kept up to date

Qualifications

Candidates with the following skills will be of particular interest:

• Prior Conveyance experience
• Strong knowledge of Property titles and Land Registration procedures
• Commercial Property experience
• Legal experience relating to property
• Analytical/problem solving skills
• Effective communications skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organisation skills
