Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a proactive Paralegal to assist with drafting, reviewing and executing transaction documentation across banking and finance matters. You will support the Legal team with transaction management, closing processes and knowledge management, coordinating document circulation and record keeping across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

  • Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
  • Recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Experience in paralegal or legal internships is advantageous but not required.

  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintain legal templates, precedents and internal guidance materials.
  • Organise the internal knowledge management repository.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Legal team.
  • Work with Senior Paralegal and business stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions on loan agency, capital markets, restructuring and litigation transactions.

Requirements
  • Law degree (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification
  • Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Previous paralegal, legal internship or legal work experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Strong academic background and interest in banking and finance law and financial restructuring
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
