Job summary

Thompsons Solicitors is seeking a proactive Paralegal to join the Personal Injury team in Birmingham. The role supports the progression of a varied caseload, conducts legal research, drafts correspondence and documents, and coordinates with clients and third parties.

What the role involves..

We are looking for a confident and conscientious Paralegal with strong communication and organisational skills to join our Multi-Track Accidents team in Birmingham.

As an integral member of the team, you'll support the progression of a varied caseload, assisting with legal research, drafting correspondence and documents, liaising with clients and third parties, and helping to ensure cases move forward efficiently and effectively. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to complex personal injury matters while working alongside experienced legal professionals who are committed to your development.

About you...

We're looking for someone who is passionate about claimant work and motivated to build a long-term career in personal injury litigation.

You'll ideally have:

• A Law Degree or equivalent legal qualification.


• At least two years' experience working as a personal injury paralegal.


• Experience managing your own caseload and/or supporting complex litigation matters.


• Experience of drafting witness statements, schedules of loss and pleadings.


• Previous experience using a case management system.


• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
