Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks an experienced Panel Wirer in St Neots, Cambridgeshire (PE19). The role involves building DCS cabinets from drawings, crimping and terminating wiring, and assembling control panels with trunking. Rittal cabinet experience is beneficial.

The position is 6 months, with PAYE at £22.00 per hour plus holidays or £28.72 per hour LTD, on-site in St Neots. A safety-conscious approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experienced Panel Wirer able to read engineering drawings.
• Proficient in crimping, terminating and loom­ing work.
• Competent with hand tools and safe working practices.

The Role:

Our client is seeking experienced Panel Wirer to support ongoing requirements based on their site in St Neots.

The Panel Wirer role will include:

• Working from engineering drawings to build DCS cabinets, assembly control panels with components/trunking (Rittal cabinet experience beneficial).
• Crimping, terminating and looming work.
• Competent use of Hand tools.
• Good communication skills.
• Health & Safety conscious.
• The Panel Wirer will assist with strip, clean and pack activities within the System Assembly and Design team.
