Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Electrical Technician / Panel Wirer in Waterbeach to support production in a manufacturing environment. The role covers harness manufacture, component installation and testing to tight quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have electrical experience (preferably 3–5 years in aerospace), good IT skills and a solid understanding of wiring diagrams and drawings, with a strong focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a production environment.
• Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace).
• Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules.
• Test and inspection of electrical assemblies.
• Install electrical components into units.
• Experience in the fitting of aircraft galleries.
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams.
• Meeting set production targets.
• Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area.
• Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how workflow could be improved.
• Escalate issues to line management as required.
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Role: Electrical Technician / Panel Wirer

Location: Waterbeach

Salary: £35,000 - £35,000

Proactive are currently in search of multiple skilled Electrical / Wiring Technicians to start work with a company based in Waterbeach. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leading manufacturing company offering ample opportunity for progression and development.

You will be working across production areas regarding electrical requirements ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely and to appropriate quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules
• Test and inspection of electrical assemblies
• Install electrical components into units
• Experience in the fitting of aircraft galleries
