Proactive Global is seeking multiple Electrical / Wiring Technicians to join a Waterbeach-based team. You will work across production areas on electrical requirements to meet deadlines safely and to high quality standards.

Responsibilities include manufacturing harnesses, testing, installing components, reading wiring diagrams, and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace. The role offers progression in a market-leading manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Experience in a production environment.
• Electrical experience (3–5 years in aerospace).
• Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP.

Responsabilidades

• Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules.
• Test and inspect electrical assemblies.
• Install electrical components into units.
• Read and understand engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure production targets are met and quality standards are followed.
• Maintain health and safety standards at all times.
• Keep work area clean, organized and efficient.
• Suggest workflow improvements and escalate issues when needed.
• Manage supplies and tools to comply with quality and safety regulations.

Role: Electrical / Wiring Technician

Location: Waterbeach

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Proactive are currently in search of multiple skilled Electrical / Wiring Technicians to start work with a company based in Waterbeach. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leading manufacturing company offering ample opportunity for progression and development.

You will be working across production areas regarding electrical requirements ensuring that production deadlines are met efficiently, safely and to appropriate quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules
• Test and inspection of electrical assemblies
• Install electrical components into units
• Experience in the fitting of aircraft galleries
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams
• Meeting set production targets
• Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
• Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how workflow could be improved
• Escalate issues to line management as required
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Knowledge, Education, and Skills

Knowledge

• Experience in a production environment
• Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace)
• Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRP
