Job summary

Proactive Global is recruiting a Panel Wirer / Electrical Wireman for a position in Waterbeach. The role involves manufacturing electrical harnesses, testing assemblies and installing components into units, with an emphasis on meeting production targets and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have production environment experience and electrical expertise (3–5 years in aerospace preferred), plus good IT skills and familiarity with MRPSkills. Ability to work flexible hours is required.

Role: Panel Wirer / Electrical Wireman

Location: Waterbeach

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000

Proactive are currently in search of multiple skilled Panel Wirers / Electrical Wiremen to start work with a company based in Waterbeach. This is an exciting opportunity working for a market leading manufacturing company offering ample opportunity for progression and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture of electrical harnesses, components, control modules
• Test and inspection of electrical assemblies
• Install electrical components into units
• Experience in the fitting of aircraft galleries
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings, wiring diagrams
• Meeting set production targets
• Ensure products are built to appropriate quality standards, right first time
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times
• Maintain a safe, organised and efficient work area
• Ensure efficient production flow and make suggestions as to how workflow could be improved
• Escalate issues to line management as required
• Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with quality and safety regulations.

Knowledge, Education, and Skills

Knowledge

• Experience in a production environment
• Electrical experience (preferred 3 to 5 years in aerospace)
• Good IT skills with working knowledge of MRPSkills and competencies
