Job summary

MTrec Technical are recruiting a Panel Wirer in Washington for a fast-paced manufacturing team. You will fit electrical components, wire from schematics, and assemble distribution panels in a compliant environment.

You will work closely with production, perform panel testing, and adhere to safety systems to ensure quality output. The role requires experience with single and three-phase systems, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Experience with single and three phase systems and panel wiring.
• Ability to read schematics and electrical drawings with accuracy.
• Desirable 18th Edition certification and recognised electrical qualification.

Responsibilities

• Fit electrical components and wiring from schematics.
• Build and wire electrical distribution units and panels.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble parts.
• Test panels and inspect to standards compliance.
• Collaborate with production teams and follow safety procedures.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs.

The Job You'll Do;

• Fit electrical components and electrical wiring
• Working from schematics and drawings.
• Fit, wire, build and assemble electrical distribution units
• Using hand tools and power tools
• Panel testing and inspections to ensure compliance with manufacturing industry standards.
• Working closely with the production teams
• Adhere to risk assessments, method statements, and company safety procedures
• Fault finding and repair

About You;

• Experience working with Single + Three Phase systems
• Previous panel wiring/electrical fitting or testing experience
• Hold an 18th Edition certification (desirable)
• Hold a recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, C&G 2391, HNC etc.) or equivalent experience
• Previous use and experience with hand & power tools
• Able to understand electrical drawings
• High level of attention to detail
• Good communication skills and an understanding of verbal and written English
• Excellent attendance levels and attitude
