Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting for a Panel Wirer in Nottingham, NG8, working for a manufacturer of low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels. You will be wiring and assembling panels in a workshop, following engineering drawings and schematics, with overtime at enhanced rates once permanent.

The role is full-time with a temp-to-perm path, hours 08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday. OT premium applies after 40 hours; wage is £16.31 per hour with a permanent uplift to £24.46 after conversion.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow schematic drawings to build switchboards and control panel systems.
• Wiring and assembling a range of panels according to engineering drawings.
• Previous experience is essential for this role.

Barker Ross is recruiting for Panel Wirers in Nottingham, NG8.

You will be working for a manufacturer of all types of low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels.

Key details :

You will be working in workshop wiring and fitting control panels according to engineering drawings. Wiring and assembling a range of panels ranging in size, many bespoke products. Must be able to follow schematic drawings to build switchboards and control panel systems.

Job Type: Full time , Temporary to permanent.

Salary: £16.31 ph

Over 40 hours worked is X1.5 rate. (£24.46ph) (ONCE PERMANENT)

Working pattern:

Monday - Friday
08:00 - 17:00
Early finish on fridays
