Job summary

Wentworth James Group seeks a meticulous Panel Wirer to join our manufacturing team in the UK. You will assemble and wire control panels and enclosures, following electrical diagrams and safety standards to ensure high-quality production.

Ideal candidates have experience with PLC wiring, hand/power tools, and surface mount tech, and will contribute to a structured, safety-conscious environment while developing their skills further.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in electrical assembly or panel wiring is preferred.
• Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology is essential.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their wiring is highly desirable.
• Experience with electrical components, circuit diagrams, and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical panels using hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology.
• Wire components according to technical diagrams and schematics, including PLCs.
• Install electrical components such as switches, relays, circuit breakers, and terminal blocks.
• Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled panels to ensure proper operation.
• Follow safety procedures during all stages of assembly and wiring work.
