Frontline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of an established engineering and manufacturing company based in Leicester for an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer. The role involves wiring panels, reading electrical drawings and working to high standards in a busy production environment.

Initially a full-time position with opportunities for progression, overtime, and a potential temp-to-perm path. Early finishes on Fridays and a supportive team culture are highlighted in the benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in electrical panel/control panel wiring is essential.
• Confident reading and working from electrical schematics/drawings.
• Practical, hands‑on approach.
• Able to step into the role and contribute from day one.
• Strong attention to detail and good-quality workmanship.
• Reliable with a positive work ethic.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Electrical control/panel wiring.
• Wiring and assembling electrical components.
• Working from electrical drawings and schematics.
• Cable preparation, crimping and terminating.
• Using hand and electrical tools.
• Ensuring wiring is completed accurately and to a high standard.
• Following health & safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with the wider production/engineering team.

Job Title: Electrical Panel Wirer

Location: Leicester, LE3

Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Shift Pattern: Monday - Thursday: 07:45 - 16:30 ; Friday: 07:45 - 13:30

Pay: £14.25 per hour

Start: ASAP - ideally by Monday, 17th August
