Job summary

AutoSkills (United Kingdom) is seeking a skilled Panel Technician in Nottingham. You will repair damaged vehicles to manufacturer standards, manage body panel work, and ensure high-quality finishes across a range of jobs.

The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule (8:00am - 5:00pm) with no weekend work, a supportive team, and real opportunities for career progression. A Full UK Driving Licence is required; ATA accreditation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Panel Technician in a bodyshop environment is essential.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair techniques and standards is required.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Good teamwork and clear communication with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Carry out panel repairs and replacements on damaged vehicles.
• Remove and refit body panels and related components.
• Realign vehicle structures using specialist equipment and techniques.
• Repair dents, scratches, and accident damage to a high standard.
• Work with MET Technicians, Paint Technicians, and Workshop Controllers.
• Ensure repairs meet manufacturer specifications and quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, organised working environment.
• Complete repair records accurately and efficiently.
