Auto Skills UK in Sudbury is seeking an Experienced Panel Technician to join a professional accident repair team in a modern workshop. You will perform high-quality repairs to accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring compliance with manufacturer repair methods and vehicle safety standards.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with no weekend commitments, a full-time permanent position, and ongoing training to support career progression within a busy workshop environment.

Formación

• Proven experience as Panel Beater/Panel Technician in accident repair bodyshop.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle body repairs, panel replacement, alignment and structural repairs.
• Qualified IMI/C&G/ATA in Panel or similar discipline.
• Ability to work accurately, efficiently and independently while contributing to a team.
• Commitment to manufacturer repair methods and vehicle safety.

Responsabilidades

• Repair, replace and align damaged vehicle panels and bodywork.
• Carry out structural repairs and metal finishing to a high standard.
• Use welding and repair techniques in line with manufacturer procedures.
• Assess vehicle damage and identify the correct repair methods.
• Work closely with MET Technicians, Paint Sprayers, VDAs and the wider workshop team.
• Maintain consistently high standards of repair quality, accuracy and productivity.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised working area.
