Job summary

Steer Automotive Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Panel Technician to join our accident repair team. You will perform structural and cosmetic panel repairs to manufacturer specifications using the latest repair methods and equipment.

Candidates should have proven panel repair experience, MIG/MAG welding proficiency, and a keen eye for detail. ATA accreditation is desirable, and you will work in a supportive, quality-driven workshop with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a panel technician in a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding and panel repair techniques.
• ATA accreditation or equivalent qualification is desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural and cosmetic panel repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Replace, repair, and align panels to manufacturer specifications.
• Use the latest repair methods, tools, and equipment to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Work to defined productivity and quality targets while maintaining safety standards.
• Support your team and contribute to a positive, respectful workshop culture.
