Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician for a busy Aylesford bodyshop. You will perform high-quality repairs to manufacturer standards, using the latest tools and techniques to deliver precise results.

The role requires a recognised body repair qualification, experience in high-volume accident repair, and strong knowledge of EV/Hybrid safety practices. Opportunity to maximise bonus in a supportive team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in high-volume, fast-paced accident repair with modern techniques including aluminium and high-strength steel.
Up-to-date understanding of electric/hybrid vehicle safety procedures.
Proficiency with digital estimating systems, repair methods software, and Bodyshop management tools.

Responsibilities

Carry out high-quality structural and cosmetic repairs on a wide range of vehicles, including EV/Hybrid models.
Utilise modern Bodyshop equipment such as spot welders, aluminium tools, ADAS calibration awareness, and digital measuring systems.
Interpret and follow digital job cards, repair estimates, and technical data via workshop management systems (e.g., Audatex, Autoflow).
Ensure all repairs meet PAS 10125 standards and maintain safety, quality, and compliance.
Collaborate with MET Technicians, Paint Sprayers, and VDA teams to maximise productivity and bonus opportunities.
