Job summary

Airedale by Modine in Bradford is seeking a Systems & Controls Production Team Leader to oversee daily panel shop operations, mentor technicians, and ensure high standards of quality and efficiency in critical cooling and BMS control panels.

You will act as a "player-coach", balancing team leadership with hands-on electrical assembly and testing when required, while prioritising safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Time-served electrical background with ability to read schematics fluently.
• Proven experience in electrical control panel assembly and wiring.
• Hands-on testing of electrical systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead panel shop team to hit output targets and manage attendance.
• Oversee daily production plan and hands-on wiring/assembly when needed.
• Conduct point-to-point electrical testing and QA documentation.
• Coordinate with engineers to resolve drawing queries and ensure stock readiness.
• Enforce electrical safety and 5S housekeeping standards.
