Job summary

Automation Experts in North East Wales is seeking a hands-on Panel Builder / Wirer to join our engineering team. You will wire electrical control panels, install cabling, read schematics, and assemble frame-mounted equipment on varied projects across industrial sectors.

The role offers a stable engineering environment with emphasis on safety, quality and practical wiring skills. Applicants should have an apprenticeship or Level 3 electrical qualification and experience with control panel and

Qualifications

Completed recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 electrical qualification
Previous experience with control panel wiring and field wiring
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team
Good practical and organisational skills with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

Wire electrical control panels, specialised machinery and frame-mounted equipment
Install cable tray, trunking and conduit systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings and wiring diagrams
Carry out mechanical fitting of electrical components and associated equipment
Test installations and support fault finding activities when required
Use hand tools, power tools and crimping equipment to industry standards
Support both electrical and non-electrical workshop activities when needed
Maintain high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
