Job summary

CV Technical is seeking an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer to join its established engineering and manufacturing operation in the Exeter area. The role involves wiring, assembly and testing of industrial panels from electrical drawings and ensuring high quality work.

Candidates must have hands-on panel wiring experience, read drawings, and be able to work with minimal supervision. A full UK driving licence is essential and you will join a dedicated workshop.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in panel wiring or a closely related electrical assembly role.
• Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and electrical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to measure and mark out to drawings and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Wiring and fitting switchgear, switchboards and distribution boards
• Wiring and fitting electrical components
• Panel wiring and assembly
• PLC wiring
• Fitting and installing copper busbars
• Working from manufacturing and electrical drawings
• Maintaining a clean, organised workshop
• Ensuring work is completed safely and to quality standards
