Job summary

Wills HVAC Services is seeking an experienced Control Panel Builder to join the panel team in Burnley. The role involves building and wiring electrical control panels for commercial HVAC and building control systems, using electrical drawings to ensure quality and safety.

You will also support engineers with installation and commissioning on customer sites when required. Ideal candidates have Level 2 or Level 3 electrical qualifications or relevant practical experience, with strong attention to

Qualifications

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, Engineering or a related subject.
Experience building or wiring electrical control panels.

Responsibilities

Build and wire electrical control panels to a high standard, following electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
Read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Install and terminate electrical components, including relays, contactors, terminals, circuit protection and control equipment.
Carry out panel wiring, cable preparation, termination and labelling.
Use hand tools, power tools and battery-operated drills safely and effectively.
Check completed work to ensure wiring is accurate, neat and to the required standard.
