Job summary

Sayjo Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced panel builder for a temporary ongoing contract in the Elland/ Halifax area. The role involves building control panels and then mounting them on customer sites throughout the UK.

You will work in the factory two days a week and travel onsite for the remaining days to install and commission panels. The ideal candidate will have City and Guilds Electrical qualifications and panel-building experience, with a clear ability to read technical drawings and

Job description

Control Panel Assembler / Installer required for a temporary ongoing contract in the Elland, Halifax area. Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a successful company that is going through a period of growth. They need an experienced panel builder who build control panels and then mount them on customers sites throughout the UK.

This is a full-time role of 7-3pm or 8-4pm Monday to Thursday and an earlier finish on Fridays, when based in the factory for two days a week. The other three days will be out onsite mounting and assisting with installing of the control panels on customer sites.

Our client has a busy order book till Christmas and is bringing on new customers each week, so it is likely to lead to a permanent contract.

Duties include:

• Reading of technical drawings for machine control panels
• Building of control panels to specification and standards
• Testing and consultation with stakeholders where required
• Installing other technical products onsite of which training will be given
• Assisting the team in wiring onsite subject to qualifications
• Always offering great customer service and communication with stakeholders
• Health and Safety in all areas
• Driving to sites using a company vehicle (standard licence van)
• Completing relevant paperwork and compliance documentation

We are looking for:

• Panel building qualifications or apprentice trained

• Experience in building control panels for machines

• UK Driving licence
