You will join a professional accident repair team and respond to a flexible start time to suit personal circumstances. You will repair accident damage to pre-accident condition using manufacturer-approved methods, and perform MIG/MAG and spot welding, ensuring high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a Panel Beater or Panel Technician in an accident repair centre.
• Recognised apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Accident Repair Body (NVQ/IMI/SVQ/VRQ/ATA or equivalent).
• Competent MIG/MAG and spot welding skills.

Aufgaben

• Assess accident damage and decide on effective repair methods.
• Repair damaged panels using traditional panel beating and modern techniques.
• Remove, replace and align bolt-on and welded panels; perform MIG/MAG and spot welding.
• Prepare repaired areas to high standards for the paint shop.
• Follow manufacturer repair methods and health and safety procedures.
• Work with MET Technicians, Painters and Workshop Controller to keep repairs on schedule.
