Job summary

Sherwood Truck and Van, part of the Guest Motor Group, is the UK’s largest Iveco Dealer Group and Fiat Van Dealer. A family-owned business for over a century, we operate 13 full-service dealerships across the East Midlands, West Midlands, North Wales, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.

We are looking for a skilled vehicle technician to carry out repairs on LCVs and HGVs, follow job cards, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Must have appropriate qualifications/training certificates in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Logical mind-set.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs as per job card/instructions.
• Be conversant with LCV & HGV.
• Strip damaged areas of the vehicle.
• Weld new or repaired panels into place.
• Some light fabrication may be required.
• Ensure that the finished repair corresponds with the rest of the vehicle or prepare the surface for re-spray.
• Complete accurate records of jobs.

Working Hours

7:00am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

40 hours per week.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs as per job card/instructions.
