Job summary

Guest Truck and Van, part of Guest Group, is hiring a technician to perform routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on franchised and non-franchised marques including trailers. You will diagnose faults using the manufacturer’s systems and complete job cards in line with warranty protocols, with shifts Monday to Friday.

HGV licence is desirable but not essential, and a pre-requisite NVQL3 or equivalent is expected. This is a full-time role based at our Wolverhampton area dealerships.

Qualifications

• NVQ/L3 or equivalent prerequisite.
• HGV licence desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, maintenance, service and repairs on franchised and non-franchised marques including trailers to industry standard.
• Carry out a wide range of defect repairs including major unit overhaul.
• Fault diagnosis and rectification using the manufacturer’s computer system and tooling.
• Complete job cards and service sheets using online systems correctly and in line with warranty protocol.
• HGV licence desirable but not essential.
• Pre‑requisite NVQL3 or similar.

Working Hours

Rotational weekly shifts

Shift A: 7:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday

Shift B: 11:30am – 8:00pm, Monday to Friday

40 Basic Weekly Hours.
