Job summary

APOLLO 2000 LIMITED in Dagenham is seeking a full-time Panel Beater / Prepper to assess vehicle body damage, perform panel beating, straightening and repairs, and prepare panels for refinishing.

You will fill, sand, mask, and prime, ensuring correct fit and finish while coordinating with paint technicians and workshop colleagues to meet quality standards and deadlines. The role may include basic vehicle checks and assisting with general workshop duties as required.

Qualifications

• Strong maintenance & repair and vehicle maintenance skills for bodywork, panels, and related components.
• Ability to troubleshoot vehicle body issues and identify repair methods.
• Experience with heavy equipment and workshop tools used in panel beating and preparation.
• Supervisory/leadership experience is beneficial for small teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle body damage and perform panel beating, straightening and repairs.
• Prepare panels for refinishing: fill, sand, mask and prime, ensure correct fit and finish.
• Work with paint technicians and workshop teammates to meet quality standards and deadlines.
