Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Panel Beater for a reputable accident repair group based near Eastleigh. You will replace body panels, perform chassis repairs, and ensure high-quality results in a busy workshop.

We’re seeking time-served panel beaters with NVQ Level 3 (ATA advantageous) and a full UK driving licence. A competitive salary (£54,600 base, up to £57,000 with overtime) plus 33 days holiday and progression opportunities await.

Qualifications

• Time-served panel beating experience in a bodyshop or accident repair environment.
• NVQ Level 3 in Panel Beating preferred; ATA accreditation advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence and own tools/equipment.

Responsibilities

• Replace and repair damaged vehicle body panels to high standards.
• Conduct chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Assess damage and determine best repair methods.
• Complete bumper, door and other bodywork repairs as required.
• Ensure repairs meet internal quality standards and regulations.
• Work efficiently within a team to maintain productivity and safety.

Duties of a Panel Beater with our client:

• Replace and repair damaged or compromised vehicle body panels


• Conduct chassis and framework repairs to manufacturer standards


• Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine the best repair methods


• Complete bumper, door, and other bodywork repairs as required


• Ensure all repairs meet internal quality standards and industry regulations


• Work efficiently as part of a team to maintain workshop productivity and safety standards

Requirements for a Panel Beater:

• Previous time-served Panel Beating experience in a bodyshop, main dealer, or accident repair environment


• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Panel Beating is preferable


• ATA Panel Beating accreditation is advantageous


• Full UK driving licence


• Own tools and equipment suitable for the role


• Organisational skills and a strong attention to detail


• Able to work effectively within a team environment
