Job summary

Drive Recruiting is assisting a client in Yeovil to hire a skilled Vehicle Panel Beater to join their busy bodyshop. You will repair and replace body panels to a high standard, using welding techniques and preparing vehicles for return to customers.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours, with a basic salary between £40k and £45k and a team bonus that takes the total to around £50k OTE.

Qualifications

• Current or recent Bodyshop experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater (≥2 years).
• Full UK driving license.
• Own tools required.
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive Bodyshop Repair.
• ATA qualification would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Repair and replace body panels to the highest standard.
• Use welding techniques to fuse panels and ensure solid joints.
• Check work for defects and finalize repairs before delivery to the customer.
• Return repaired vehicles to customers in first-class condition.

Our Client is looking for a Vehicle Panel Beater in Yeovil to join their highly skilled and efficient team.

Description:

Vehicle Panel Beaters are required to repair every detail of the bodywork on a vehicle. Repairing and replacing body panels if needed to the highest standard. Using different welding techniques to fix panels together. Checking over the vehicle after you have completed repairs to make sure there are no defects and the vehicle is ready to go back to the customer.

What we are offering:

• Full time/permanent
• Monday - Friday - 42.5 hour week
• Basic between £40k - £45k dependant on experience
• Team bonus - OTE 50k

Qualifications/Requirements

• Current or very recent Bodyshop experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater of at least 2 years.
• Full UK driver's License.
• Be able to work in a team and independently if needed.
• You will need your own tools.
• Achieve deadline and targets that are set out.
• City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Automotive Bodyshop Repair.
• ATA Qualification would be an advantage.
• Previous Bodyshop Panel Beater experience is essential.
